Euphemisms at the workplace

Certain workplace euphemisms can have hilarious connotations if we try to interpret them literally. My personal favorite is what people are told when they are laid off. They are told "We are going to have to let you go". This makes it sound like the guy badly wanted to leave and the company was holding him back. So now the company is actually helping him out by letting him go. Let's see how a mobster would use the same euphemism during an internal mob hit.

"Hey Paulie, we have decided to let you stand in that hole while we fill it up with concrete." OR

"Yo Jimmy, we are going to to have to let you sleep in the car as it dives to the bottom of the river, kapish?"
